    This is a fantastic Seabees calendar book from 1944. This book belonged to my great uncle Ernie and I really don't have a use for it. Ernie lived his whole life in Minneapolis, he was in the Navy Seabees as a cook in WWII, he was in his early 40s when he enlisted. This book measures 5-3/4" x 8-1/2" and it is fully intact. Most of the pages are empty, but in 1967 his wife Ella used some of the pages as a diary. The book is in excellent condition, it shows a little bit of edge wear but nothing significant. It looks like the top page before J.G. Ware's photo was removed. This great book comes from a smoke free and pet free home, it is clean and ready to enjoy.
