    Description

    This is an unusual Hammond typewriter, something most of us have never see before.  Possibly a special purpose or prototype design for its type head.  After showing it to several other collectors who are knowledgeable about early Hammond typewriters, we have come to the conclusion that this is an early, previously unknown, transition model.  Its story remains a mystery.  Please see images for details and feel free to contact me with any questions.  This typewriter is being sold as seen in photos.
