This is the economic phenomenon that was MICKEY MOUSE featured inside of a complete 1933 issue of LITERARY DIGEST Magazine!!! This issue includes the article "MICKEY MOUSE, FINANCIER". Nice one–page article! The piece was published on Mickey Mouse’s 5th birthday. This describes how Mickey Mouse products were marketed, and just how popular they were, as well as the beginning of the push to sell him overseas. The article notes that the MM money had built the new Disney plant on Hyperion Avenue in Hollywood, which in turn resulted in the latest treasure to the screen: “THREE LITTLE PIGS.” This is a wonderful time capsule.
