large format 16x20 inch reproduction "giclèe" fine art archival print of one of the rarest and best tattoo business cards, scanned from the original pristine tryon card.
the print was professionally printed and produced on 100 weight, archival, matte paper using only fade-resistant, archival, pigment-based inks. this sheet is the closest to the original sheet as could be possibly made.
Handsome Halsey "3 Star Jack" Tryon,  began tattooing in Michigan in the 1910's and sometime in that same period he was tattooed over his entire body by Charles Wagner and Lou Alberts in the Bowery NYC.  By 1919, was in San Antonio tattooing and running various carnival and other sideshow related businesses from 1919 to 1959. Bob Shaw, who worked under Tryon in the 1940s, became probably his most prolific and well known tattooer.
the first two images for the listing are screen shots of the electronic file.  the next photo with the blue pen is an actual photo taken of the print itself so the clarity of the print can be seen.  the color of the print is closer to the screen shots.  this one looks insanely good.
