Deagan Standard Model No. 1514 2 1/2 octave Flat Top Orchestral Bells

A set of Deagan Standard Model No. 1514 2 1/2 octave Flat Top orchestral bells. These models are exceedingly difficult to find and provide a sound that cannot be duplicated by more modern sets of bells.
This set comes with bars that are 1 1/4” wide and 3/8”thick. Overall, the entire instrument has been
refurbished with new floating felt rails for maximum resonance, and new pins and cords were added. In addition, the custom oak case is newly built and keeps the accidentals permanently mounted above and over the naturals for ease of playing.
The top of the case can be removed for playing and the deeper case allows for greater resonance.
The bars are inexcellent condition and the instrument sounds beautiful.
This is a high quality professional level instrument that would be ideal for a serious, working percussionist. It would also be awonderful instrument for a professional level orchestra or as an addition to the percussion holdings in a university or other academic music program.
