Antique Remington Rand Typewriter In Case De Lux Model Serial # B1556646

This is a great typewriter.
It may have been a typewriter just like this that some of the worlds greatest stories were written on.
This is a remington Rand Delux model 5 and it is in its original custom fit case where it locks into place for travel.
The ribbon is in poor shape but as you can see in some pictures the typewriter still types.
Some keys stick a little but we are sure they will free up with a little use.
The typewriter is 10 1/2" x 12" front to back and 4 3/4" high.
Case is in good shape and is 13 1/2" x 13 6".
Serial number on the front, behind the keys, of the remington reads b1556646.
