Highly graphic department store giveaway for "good boys and girls" visiting Santa at Snellenburg's "Toytown".
Color and bluetone content includes elaborate 3-D photo setups telling an adapted version of the Pinocchio story with a Christmas ending. These detailed painted statuettes & backgrounds were created by the Walt Disney Studio.
Note: Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck Seiberling figures appear in the end photo.
A scarce and extremely eye-catching booklet with outstanding imagery throughout.
Condition is considered FAIR to POOR with miscellaneous surface/stain/edge wear. Misc. surface creasing with scattered page tears and chips (largest tear is approx. 1.5"). Approx. 40% of last page is unceremoniously torn and missing (otherwise complete). Still bound well with approx. 2" spine edge separation. Colors and imagery is still bold, bright and attractive.
Overall, despite defects & considering the fragile nature of the thin pulpy paper, we feel this uncommon booklet is still a very displayable example by most standards (see photos). Perfect for the WALT DISNEY, CHRISTMAS and/or DEPARTMENT STORE ADVERTISING enthusiast. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed item(s) rated (6-5).
